Full & partial rewires.
From renewing one struggling circuit to rewiring a whole property, the job is planned room by room, done tidily and certificated on completion. And if you only need a partial rewire, we say so and price only that.

What’s included.
- Full rewires: complete renewal for older properties, planned to keep the house liveable throughout
- Partial rewires: where only part of the installation needs renewal, we price only that part
- New consumer unit: rewires finish at a modern, labelled board with RCD protection
- Making good: chases and lifted boards are part of the conversation before work starts, not a surprise after
- Testing and certification: the whole installation tested and certificated at completion
Who we do this for.
Homeowners
A rewire you can live through: planned room by room, power staying on outside the room being worked.
Landlords
Older rental stock brought up to standard, scheduled between tenancies where that suits the let.
Builders & renovators
Rewires on renovation projects, coordinated with your trades so we are there when the walls are open.
How a job runs.
Form, phone or WhatsApp. You deal with the person who prices the work and stands behind it.
We look at the job properly before we price it. The quote says what is included and what is not.
Booked in, done when we said, and left clean. Any surprises get discussed before they get done.
Every job is tested, certificated where applicable, and covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee.
Asked before booking.
How do I know if my house needs rewiring?
Age is the clue but not the verdict. Rubber or fabric-insulated cable, a fuse box with rewirable fuses, or a shortage of sockets feeding a nest of extension leads all point to a survey. An EICR gives you the honest answer before any commitment.
Full or partial rewire: who decides?
The survey does. Plenty of properties only need the oldest circuits renewed and a new board. Where a full rewire is genuinely needed we explain exactly what we found, and the report is yours either way.
Can you rewire the house while we live in it?
Yes, and most of our domestic rewires happen exactly that way: planned room by room, power staying on outside the room being worked, and the whole-house switch-over done on one agreed day.
How long does a rewire take?
A typical three-bed house is roughly a week to ten days of work. Size, construction and whether the property is occupied all move it, which is why the quote comes with a timescale as well as a price.
Does the price include making good?
Our quotes say exactly what is included, and making good the chases is agreed before work starts. A rewire that leaves every wall scarred is not a cheap rewire.
We are a building firm. Can you handle rewires on our projects?
That is a big part of our week. We first fix to your programme while the walls are open, coordinate with your trades, and certify everything at completion so your handover file is ready when the job is.
