How a job runs.

Form, phone or WhatsApp. You deal with the person who prices the work and stands behind it.

Survey and a straight quote

We look at the job properly before we price it. The quote says what is included and what is not.

The work, done tidily

Booked in, done when we said, and left clean. Any surprises get discussed before they get done.

Tested, certificated, guaranteed

Every job is tested, certificated where applicable, and covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee.

Asked before booking.

How do I know if I need a new fuse board?

We inspect and tell you straight. A board with rewirable fuses, no RCD protection or signs of heat damage has earned replacement. A modern board with a single fault needs the fault fixed, not the board swapped, and we say so when that is the case.

How long does a fuse board change take?

Typically a day, including testing, labelling every circuit and certification. The power is off for part of it, and we agree the timing with you in advance so you can plan around it.

My board keeps tripping. Does that mean it needs replacing?

Not necessarily. Tripping is the protection doing its job, and the cause is more often an appliance or a single circuit than the board itself. We trace the fault first and only recommend a new board where it genuinely earns its keep.

What is surge protection and do I need it?

A surge protection device sits in the board and absorbs voltage spikes before they reach your electronics. On new boards it is fitted as standard practice, and for homes full of computers, smart tech and appliance electronics it is cheap insurance.

Will a new board cope with an EV charger later?

If you tell us it is on the horizon, yes. We specify the board with the spare capacity and ways to take a charger circuit later, so the EV install becomes a small job instead of a second board change.

Is the work certificated?

Every board change is tested, certificated and notified as required, and covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee. The certificate goes in the house file, and landlords get copies for compliance.
