What sort of work would I be on?
Mostly commercial: dealerships, schools, offices and blocks of flats, from first fix through to the handover file. Domestic jobs still get booked in and everyone does some. Have a look at the projects to see exactly what you would be walking into.
What does it pay?
That depends on what you hold and what you can run, so we would rather talk numbers with you than print a range that fits nobody. Put what you are after in your message and you will get a straight answer, not a negotiation.
Do I need to be local to Milton Keynes?
Most work sits inside Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. We travel further when a project justifies it, like The Warren School in Lowestoft.
What if I do not have my card yet?
Say so. We take improvers and apprentices, and we would rather know where you actually are than find out in week two. Plenty of good electricians started as the person who said “nothing yet”.
